Shipping and Returns

Order Processing

Orders are processed during business hours Monday to Friday. Orders received over a weekend will be processed on Monday and shipped same day, or next day. If you require same day delivery, please contact us toll free at 1-877-592-7374 during business hours of Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. PST to 4:00 p.m. PST. We will do our best to accommodate your shipping needs. The company warehouse is closed on most Canadian holidays and other major holidays, however it is open during most US holidays if the holiday falls during business operating hours.


Cobble Hill Puzzle Co. website allows for shipping in Canada with the exception of Nunavut. If you require delivery to Nunavut, please contact us toll free at 1-877-592-7374 during business hours of Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. PST to 4:00 p.m. PST. We will do our best to accommodate your shipping needs and provide you with the best shipping quote.

International Shipping

At this time, we are unable to ship to international addresses with the exception of the United States. If you're an international retailer interested in selling our product, please visit Our Distributors page.

Shipping Policies for Canada

All Canada orders will be shipped from our warehouse in Brampton, ON via Canada Post. Online orders received during business hours will ship the next business day, sans unforeseen circumstances.

Shipping Policies for United States

All US orders will be shipped from Canada via UPS Ground. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for processing before your order ships (it could go sooner).


Orders placed in Canada will be charged in Canadian currency. Orders placed in the United State will be charged in US dollars. On occasion, there can be a currency error in our system, in which case we will credit your card if there is an overage.


Ground orders are processed and shipped in 3 to 5 business days for the US and 2 to 3 business days in Canada. It may take up to 8 business days to reach its destination in the continental United States and western Canada or rural areas. Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii could take between 8 to 14 days for delivery.


All orders should receive a confirmation email after the order has been placed. Within 3 to 5 business days, another email will be sent with a tracking number for either Canada Post (Canada orders) or UPS (US orders). However, the tracking number may not show any movement of your package until the delivery service updates their website. Your package can leave our warehouse on a delivery truck, but this may not be reflected right away, so please continue to check as they update their website.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order prior to shipping please contact our customer service representatives at 1-877-592-7374 between 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PST or leave a message on the general voice mail. Unfortunately, we can't cancel your order once it's shipped and we typically process orders very quickly. You do have the option to return your purchase and you can contact us if you have questions about your order. We'll do everything we can to accommodate your needs.

Address Corrections

If your order has not shipped we are happy to make any address correction changes at no additional cost. However, if the package has shipped, there will be a $15 charge for Canada orders to make the correction (charged by the delivery company to us). If the order is being delivered to the United States, please contact customer support at 1-877-592-7374 to see if we can accommodate the change for you. Customer Support will ask for credit card information to process the $15 address change charge.

If you are not fully satisfied with your puzzle purchase made online at, we will accept authorized returns of unopened products if notified within 5 days after receipt of your puzzle. To receive a Return Merchandise Authorization number, please email us with the subject line: "Cobble Hill Puzzle return". In the email, please include the full name used to order the puzzle(s) online and your order number, which can be found in your My Account page or in the email we sent with your order confirmation and/or receipt. We will identify your order and refunds will be credited to your card after the product has been returned and inspected.

Gift Cards

The risk of loss and title for Gift Certificates pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the purchaser, recipient or delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable. We are not responsible if a Gift Certificate is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission. [At this time we have discontinued Gift Cards]

  What information do we collect?

  • We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, enter a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in another site feature.
  • When ordering or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
  • We also collect information about gift recipients so that we can fulfill the gift purchase. The information we collect about gift recipients is not used for marketing purposes.
  • Like many websites, we use "cookies" to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Please refer to the "Do we use 'cookies'?" section below for information about cookies and how we use them.

How do we use your information?

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, purchase products, enter a contest or promotion, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
  • To personalize your site experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.
  • To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests.
  • To quickly process your transactions.
  • To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature.
  • If you have opted-in to receive our e-mail newsletter, we may send you periodic e-mails. If you would no longer like to receive promotional e-mail from us, please refer to the "How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?" section below. If you have not opted-in to receive e-mail newsletters, you will not receive these e-mails. Visitors who register or participate in other site features such as marketing programs and 'members-only' content will be given a choice whether they would like to be on our e-mail list and receive e-mail communications from us.

How do we protect visitor information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.

Do we use "cookies"?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

However, you can still place orders over the telephone by contacting customer service.

Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term "outside parties" does not include Outset Media (dba Cobble Hill Puzzles). It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?

To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the "My Account" section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.

To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the "My Account" section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.

Third party links

In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).

Changes to our policy

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page. Policy changes will apply only to information collected after the date of the change. This policy was last modified on August 6, 2014.
